The site also keeps ten curated, source-linked example histories and a small set of word-origin guides. Those pages summarize published dictionary entries and teaching references; they are not model output.

What it is not

Generated readings are research starting points, not verified scholarship. They may be wrong or incomplete and carry no verified citations. Check each claim against historical dictionaries and dated texts before relying on it.

How a lookup works

A lookup is sent only when you submit the form; typing sends nothing. The submitted word and optional language hint go through this site's Worker to Qomza's analysis gateway, along with technical request metadata, and the answer comes back as a structured reading to check further.

Qomza's gateway keeps what you send for each lookup, the result it returns, and related service information in its records. The Privacy page gives the full disclosure, including what the request metadata covers and how the records are kept.
